Personal Life

I'm a proud native of Salt Lake City, Utah, and have called this beautiful place home for my entire life, with the exception of an enriching two-year experience living in Japan. This time abroad broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for diverse cultures and ways of life.

Family and Hobbies

Family is at the heart of everything I do. I recently became a grandparent, which has been one of the most joyous milestones in my life. My kids are still deciding what the grandkids will call me, and it’s a fun, exciting journey to see what nickname will stick.

My wife and I are also preparing to embrace the new chapter of being empty nesters. As we navigate this transition, we are excited to rediscover our passions and spend more quality time together.

Community Involvement

For the past four or five years, I've had the privilege of coaching the local Olympus High School Mountain Bike team. The 2024 season is winding down, and I have spent a significant amount of time on the local trails with these incredible young athletes. Coaching allows me to combine my love for the outdoors with my commitment to mentoring and supporting the next generation.

Living in Utah, I’m fortunate to have easy access to some of the most breathtaking outdoor landscapes. I love spending my free time exploring the trails, whether it's hiking, biking, or just enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds us.
